About us

Lower Silesian Women’s Congress Association

The aim of our association is the social and political activation of the women of Lower Silesia. We are not tied to any institution or political party.

We are united by the pursuit of demands, the most important of which are counteracting discrimination against women, closing the pay gap, changing family policy and protecting women and children from violence.

We are inspired by the Women’s Congress (Kongres Kobiet): a civic initiative bringing together non-governmental organisations and individuals from across Poland, of different views and from different backgrounds, who share a common goal.

What we do

• We organise the yearly Lower Silesian Women’s Congress and regional congresses.
• We run EnergyLeaders, an academy for women leaders in the energy sector.
• We support Women’s Councils, advisory bodies of women working alongside local governments.
• We run the Pink Box (Różowa Skrzyneczka) project, bringing free hygiene products to schools.
